Zero-C Offshore joins the UK Chamber of Shipping
Zero-C Offshore has become the latest organisation to join the UK Chamber of Shipping as a Start-Up Shipowner.
Zero-C Offshore Ltd will be the first UK company registered in the heavy lift construction segment of the Offshore Windfarm (OWF) construction industry. Their business model reacts to three factors;(a) a supply gap for Floating Foundation Installation Vessels (FFIV), (b) a desire to comply with the Clean Maritime Plan and (c) a wish to increase UK plc participation in OWF construction and expertise.
On joining the UK Chamber of Shipping, Jon-Oliver Bryce, CEO Zero-C Offshore Ltd, said “Zero-C Offshore is proud to join the UK Chamber of Shipping as we deliver our mission to be the vessel owner of choice, the partner of choice and the employer of choice in low emissions operations in Offshore Windfarm construction. We hope Chamber membership gives us the opportunity to network with like-minded organisations and further align with the UK market.”
Tony Jerome, the UK Chamber of Shipping’s Head of Membership welcomed the recruitment of Zero-C Offshore. He said “We are all delighted Zero-C Offshore have decided to join the UK Chamber of Shipping. We are always looking to grow our membership and influence and offer businesses and organisations a fantastic opportunity to work together to shape our great industry.
“As we grow our membership we will continue to promote and protect our members’ interests, ensuring they are well-positioned to take advantage of future opportunities.”
The Chamber has around 200 members and works with its membership, committees and panels to promote the UK shipping sector and lobbies the government on behalf of its membership.
